David J.S. Madgett

Founder & CEO

Dave built his litigation skills where the stakes were highest: as a Judge Advocate in the United States Air Force. Serving as Chief of Justice, he led the justice division and served as a special prosecutor in the Special Victims Unit, investigating and prosecuting sexual assault cases. His service earned him the Air Force Commendation Medal in 2013.

He holds a Bachelor of Arts from Colgate University and a Juris Doctor from the University of Virginia. After the Air Force, he represented institutional clients at Dorsey & Whitney, Merrill Lynch, and State Street — experience he now puts to work on the other side of the table. The work he is proudest of is representing individual consumers who have been treated unfairly by banks and businesses.

Outside the office, Dave sails, skis, runs, and keeps up with his five young children. He is a member of the Minneapolis Club and the Minikahda Club.
